WITH TWO WINS from two in the Allianz League Division 1, Donegal have hit the ground running.
Victories over Down and Cork, by sizable margins, means Rory Gallagher’s plan of mixing youth and experience have been mixing well. Youngsters like Peter Boyle, Ciaran Thompson and Eoin McHugh have added to an already existing panel of experience, who Gallagher plans to continue to infuse to the panel at a gradual rate.

“When you score 3-15 and 2-14 you have to be happy,” Gallagher said. “The experienced players are experienced and have great quality. Mayo, in our next game, are going to be coming here for points. Karl Lacey is fully fit – he’d working in Dublin two days a week and Mark McHugh is coming back. He’ll be in a squad for the Mayo game – he’s a key player for us.”
