PAUL DURCAN PLAYED his part as Ballyboden St Enda’s claimed their first AIB All-Ireland Senior Club Football title in impressive circumstances.
The Dublin and Lesinter champions had a comfortable win over Castlebar Mitchels on St. Patrick’s Day at Croke Park.
In their first ever decider, St. Enda’s led throughout with Durcan impressive making a fine save on the way to a 2-14 to 0-7 win.
“There’s a lot of people who work very hard in the club,” Durcan said. “For such a big club it’s a community club. I’ve found that since I joined. It’s been a great experience.”
