FINN HARPS ENJOYED a 4-2 win over Derry City this evening in a friendly played at Coláiste Ailigh in Letterkenny.
Letterkenny native Cillian Morrison fired Derry into a first half lead direct from a free-kick only for Harps to hit back and go into a 4-1 lead through two goals from Kieran McDaid and one apiece from Wilfried Tagbo and Alan Pasoma, a student at Coláiste Ailigh who is on the books of Fanad United.
Derry struck a late consolation through Gareth McFadden.
“We have come in here once or twice a week for the last couple of months,” Harps manager Ollie Horgan said of the school in Carnamuggagh. “I don’t think the result is that important. It was a matter of trying to get lads some game-time and that’s important for us.”
