OLLIE HORGAN HAD ‘no complaints’ with last night’s 4-0 defeat for Finn Harps at St Patrick’s Athletic.
The game was Harps’ fifth game in a 19-day spell going back to their 1-1 draw against Wexford Youths.
“Is it hard to take? We just have to take it,” Horgan told Oisin Langan last night. “There is no point in feeling sorry for ourselves.
“We have no complaints. We have a few tired legs and limbs out there. It’s not a great place to be, but that’s part of this division. We need to try and move on from it.”
Harps had conceded after five minutes against Dundalk on Friday night in a game they lost 7-0 and it took only nine minutes last night for Timlin to break the deadlock.
Horgan said: “The first goal came from a throw-in of ours. Conan Byrne hit us on the counter-attack and Mark Timlin finished it very well.
“We played a little bit of hit-and-hope and we were disappointed to concede so early. When you concede that early, it’s always difficult to get back into the game.
[adrotate group=”38″]“We got a foothold in the game after that without getting an out-and-out chance and the second goal killed us, to be blunt.”
