SARAH FAULKNER knew Moville would be tested by St Eunan’s on Saturday, but was thrilled in the manner her side won the club’s fourth Donegal minor final in a row.
“It was a brilliant second half,” Faulkner told Donegal Sport Hub.
“They came out and showed themselves in the first half. They came out with all guns blazing. We’re only losing Emma Doherty for next year.”
Faulkner is the Moville senior ladies goalkeeper and they’re heading to Ulster themselves after winning the Donegal SFC this year and now the minors are doing likewise.

McClenaghan’s was a majestic performance, described by her manager as: ‘a fireball. She was outstanding today.’
Leading 3-2 to 1-5 at the break, Moville edged clear and St Eunan’s didn’t score again until a Ciara O’Donnell goal in added time.
Faulkner said: “The defence came out strong. We knew we had a good defence but they’d never really been tested.
“They stood the test. Clodagh Skelly was unbelievable and we pulled Ciara Harkin out to half-back too.”
