MILFORD UNITED MANAGERÂ Noel Gillespie has vowed “to keep the pressure on” Drumoghill FC in the Donegal League Premier Division.
Milford were 2-0 winners of Castlefin Celtic today thanks to goals from Paul Nash and PJ Hagan at Moyle View Park. In  the second half, the visitors were much improved but it was Milford who held on for the three points.
That means that Gillespie’s team are now level on points with Drumoghill – but have played two games more. However, they won’t be throwing in the towel just yet.
“I felt we were very tired,” Gillespie said. “Castlefin have that never say die attitude and that’s why they’re up there. We’re joint top and it’s up to Drumoghill now. We needed that win today. We’ll just try and keep the pressure on them.”
