RAPHOE CAPTAIN MATTHEW LECKY believes that things will come good for the Donegal club.Raphoe fell to a 3-2 home defeat by Mossley in the Kirk Cup on Saturday. It was their second 3-2 loss in a row after going down to a similar scoreline against Belfast Harlequins the previous week.
“It’s very disappointying but thankfully it’s still the Kirk Cup – we’re using this as a warm-up in preparation for the League,” Lecky told Donegal Sport Hub.
“We can take a lot of positives from the game. If we improve on simple things in our game we have a good chance.”
Lecky spoke of the importance of Raphoe staying up in the Premier League and the impact of Ben Wallace, Alexander Tinney and Luke Witherow who have been featuring at provincial and international level.
