LETTERKENNY RUGBY CLUB flanker Joseph Dunleavy has been called into the Ireland Under-18 squad.
The Coláiste Ailigh student received the call-up on the back of his displays for Ulster at the inter-provincial tournament.
“It’s a great achievement for myself and the club,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
“I took part in the inter-pros and they pick a squad of 30 from the clubs and I was lucky enough to get picked.
“I was up at the camp on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and it was very tough. I’m just trying to make an impression.”
Daniel Faulkner, Peter Scott and Eunan Henry are others from Letterkenny to have made Ulster squads this year, with Dunleavy now aiming to wear the green of Ireland.
