Audio: Manager John McNulty hails ‘character’ of Kilcar Under-21s

KILCAR UNDER-21 manager John McNulty paid tribute to his team’s ‘character’ after their county final win over St Eunan’s.

Darragh McWalters’ goal in the 50^th minute made for a nervous finish, but Kilcar took a 0-13 to 1-8 win in Ballybofey.

“I’m absolutely delighted with them,” McNulty told Donegal Sport Hub.

“I thought they were fantastic tonight and they played as well as any team could.

“We played well through the game. When they got the goal, that was a test of character. I’d never doubt them. The character they showed is what I thought would happen.”
