A GOAL RIGHT before half-time and then 1-4 unanswered at the start of the second half was what swung this evening’s County U-21 Championship game Dungloe’s way.
Those were the feelings of Dungloe manager Joe Neeley, who saw his side turn in a decent 2-11 to 0-5 victory over Glenswilly in the preliminary round with Barry Curran and Luke Neely grabbing the goals.
“We came out and got a positive start and got the goal and then tagged on a few points,” Neely said afterwards.
“Glenswilly were excellent in the first half. They had a good shape. There wasn’t much space but we persevered and got a goal just before half-time, which was vital.”
