DOUBLE winners in the last three Ulster Senior League seasons, Cockhill Celtic have no intention of relinquishing their crowns.
The Inishowen side have captured the League and League Cup double again in the interim season and, despite the loss of manager Donal O’Brien, captain Jimmy Bradley says they’re fully focussed on keeping the succcess flowing at the Charlie O’Donnell Sports Grounds.
“The pressure is on to win it again for the fourth season in a row,” Bradley told Donegal Sport Hub.

“We’ll give it a good shot. We’ve lost some quality senior players which will make it harder – but we’ll do quite well I think.
“Donal is a massive loss, but Gavin (Cullen) and the two boys (Daniel Nolan and Shane Gallivan) have stepped in and are pushing us on. They’ve been there for a while, too. It’s nothing really new, the boys are just stepping up and taking more responsibility.”
They open up with an away game at Bonagee United in the League Cup, a fixture that is a repeat of last year’s League Cup final, won by Cockhill.
Bradley said of Cockhill’s unprecedented success: “It’s been unbelievable. It’s been down to the commitment of the players and the coaching staff. It’s been a great experience.”
