JIM MCCONNELL is one of the most powerful men in Irish football, not that you’d know it from the demeanour of the unassuming Buncrana native.
The Chairman of the Football Association of Ireland’s Domestic Committee and a member of the ten-man FAI Board of Control, McConnell is at the coalface of Irish soccer’s decision making.

On Saturday, McConnell was present at the Finn Harps v Sligo Rovers game in the Under-19 League at Maginn Park and he took time out to speak to Donegal Sport Hub about a range of topics, among them Finn Harps, the Ulster Senior League, his role in the FAI, the qualification for Euro 2016 and the management team of Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane.
