GLENSWILLY HAVE TASTED success in recent years at the senior bracket but this year the parish will be cheering on the club’s reserves on county final day.
Adrian Glackin, the manager of Glenswilly (pictured above by Geraldine Diver), has seen his team already overcome last year’s Senior Reserve champions St Eunan’s and he 2014 All-County Football League Division 1 Reserve winners Four Masters to reach a first ever final.
On Sunday they will face Ardara at Sean MacCumhaill Park.
“We’re just glad to be in the final,” Glackin said. “Ardara are the best organised reserve team I’ve seen. They’re a very good team. They’re more than useful.”
