Audio: Glenree boss Cathal McGinley wants to turn draws to wins

GLENREE UNITED MANAGER Cathal McGinley would like his side to turn draws into wins to maintain their challenge for the CT Ball Division Two title.

Top-of-the-table Glenree were held by fellow promotion hopefuls Deele Harps at Rathmullan this afternoon as Tom Mullen cancelled out Karl McElhinney’s opener.

Glenree have six wins and five draws from their 11 games.

“It was good to get the point,” he said after the game.

“We felt like we could have won the game, but we’ll take the point. It was a very cagey kind of game. They put us under pressure after their goal, but we rode the storm.”
