STEPHEN WARD led by example last night as Glenfin defeated Naomh Colmcille in the Under-21 ‘B’ Championship final at Convoy.
Ward struck a 40th minute goal as Glenfin won 1-8 to 0-5.
“It’s a brilliant feeling,” Ward, the Glenfin captain, told Donegal Sport Hub after accepting the silverware from Donegal County Chairman Sean Dunnion.

“It’s the first real piece of silverware that I’ve won with the club. It’s a great feeling.
“We have a good bunch of footballers now. Myself and two or three others are overage but the rest will still be around and a lot of them are only minors so the future is bright.”
