GARVAN GRIEVE says Glencar Celtic have given their title rivals ‘something to think about’ after going top of the Glencar Inn Saturday Division.
A 4-0 win over Drumbar FC at Flagpole Field this afternoon lifts Glencar above Orchard FC and into the driving seat.
Third-placed Arranmore have Glencar and Orchard in their next two games and Grieve is taking nothing for granted with a full round of fixtures to go in the League yet.
“I wouldn’t like to say anything to the end of the season,” Grieve told Donegal Sport Hub.
“Arranmore will have plenty to say about it too. This is the first time we’re top. This will give them something to think about now.
“We have improved the squad now too in the last whi;e. We’re still missing Declan Scanlon and Ciaran Maloney. I didn’t think we’d get a squad at the start of the season, but we’re delighted now with what we have.”
