Audio: Francie Martin rues missed chances as Naomh Colmcille caught late by Gaeil Fhánada

FRANCIE MARTIN’S NERVES were shot to pieces and the Naomh Colmcille manager was left to rue missed chances as his side were denied at the end of a cracking Intermediate semi-final by Gaeil Fhánada.

Naomh Colmcille looked to be on their way to the final, but Gaeil Fhánada hit two points in added time to earn a replay.

“It was a hard lesson for some of the young fellas to learn,” Martin told Donegal Sport Hub.

“This is a young team and it’ll take them a while. It was a good performance against all the odds.

“We have another week until the replay and we’re still in the championship.”
