IT WAS CLOSE to midnight on Friday night when Sean Quinn finally left his beloved Finn Park.
The beaming Ballybofey coalman had just watched Finn Harps leap back into the Premier Division thanks to a dramatic 2-0 play-off win over Limerick in extra-time.
Quinn, the Harps Chairman (pictured above with club captain Kevin McHugh), is one of those who soldiered through the most choppy waters the club has sailed in and he savoured the moment on Friday night.
Now, with Harps back in the top flight, he knows the task has just got somewhat harder for the club.
“I know we lot of work to do on the ground and there’ll have to be lot of money spent,” Quinn acknowledged, speaking to Donegal Sport Hub at the club’s awards function on Sunday night.
