Audio: Donegal’s ‘Mr Boxing’ Peter O’Donnell at the Donegal Sports Star Awards launch

PETER O’DONNELL IS Mr Boxing in Donegal.

In 2012, he was awarded an appreciation for his services to boxing at the Donegal Sports Star Awards and at the launch of this year’s event earlier this month he spoke about what boxing means to him.

“I always had a passion for the sport,” O’Donnell (pictured above left with Jason Quigley and Donegal Sport Hub’s Chris McNulty) said. “I’m one of the very lucky ones that has seen he world through boxing. I can never give back to boxing what boxing gave to me.”

Don’t forget the deadline for nominations for the upcoming Donegal Sports Star Award, which take place in Janaury, is this coming Friday, November 27.
