Audio: Damien McNulty’s shoulder might be ‘in agony’ but he got Finn Harps over the line

DAMIEN MCNULTY ADMITS he’s been playing through the pain barrier in recent weeks.

But with the season coming to a conclusion, the Finn Harps right-back (pictured above by Gary Foy, newsandsportfiles) fought on with a shoulder problem and was rewarded with promotion – as the assist for BJ Banda’s winner – in the 2-1 aggregate win over Limerick FC.

“We’ve only been beaten at Finn Park once all season,” McNulty said. “My shoulder is in agony but we got there in the end.”
