DAMIEN MCNULTY DOESN’T score too many goals.
Tonight, though, the Finn Harps defender pulled one from the scrapbook to level matters at 1-1 against Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

With just three minutes left to play and the score still level, the floodlights partially failed and referee Padraigh Sutton – after a delay of close to 15 minutes – abandoned the game.
It was his sixth goal for Harps and regardless of how the game will be concluded, he’ll be tuned into ‘Soccer Republic’ on Monday night.
“The cross came in and it was kind of a scramble,” McNulty said afterwards. “Kevin McHugh was behind me shouting ‘leave it, leave it’ but I could it well and it went into the top corner.”
