BURT scored an injury-time goal from Stephen Boyle to ruin their rivals’ Setanta’s hopes of a place in the SHC final next month.
In a dramatic encounter at Hibernian Park last night, the 2-10 to 0-16 draw wasn’t enough for Setanta to reach the showpiece as Sean MacCumhaill’s progressed having hammered Buncrana 13-9 to 0-7 in Ballybofey.
“We want to win every game and keep the run going,” Burt’s Joe Boyle said afterwards. “But we got the draw and we’ll push on now for the county final. You don’t want to lose on your home patch.”
