THE OLD URGES WERE still there as Brian McEniff watched with delight as his club, Bundoran, defeated Naomh Colmcille in Sunday’s Intermediate Championship final.
McEniff was beaming as Bundoran crushed Naomh Colmcille 4-17 to 0-4 to collect the Cathal McLaughlin Cup – and to return to senior football.

McEniff is the club chairman these days and he revealed how he gave the green light for the squad to travel to train as a collective unit.
“We went to Cavan and to Longford so the boys in Bundoran could train with the Dublin-based lads,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
“The Dublin lads needed to reach that level. That first 15-20 minutes showed how good they can be…wee have a lot to look forward to now.”
