BRIAN DORRIAN makes no bones about it: his Donegal League select simply must qualify for the knockout phase of the Oscar Traynor Cup.
After a 5-0 win on the opening day, Donegal lost 2-1 to Inishowen, the reigning champions, on match day two.
A draw this Sunday, when they take on Sligo-Leitrim at The Moss, home of Drumoghill FC, will seal a passage into the next round.
“It’s massive,” Dorrian told Donegal Sport Hub.
“If we don’t qualify, I’d see it as a great failure on my behalf. We need to be qualifying.
“We put so much into the Inishowen game and worked so hard, but it’s still in our own hands. Our aim was to get out of the group.”
