BRIAN DORRIAN WAS relieved to see his Donegal League team keep their nerve to defeat North Eastern Football League at The Moss this afternoon to reach the Oscar Traynor Cup semi-finals.
Donegal won 6-5 on penalties with goalkeeper Joe Coll the hero in the shoot-out.
Kyle Black’s equaliser had drawn Donegal level after NEFL took an early lead through Paul Delaney.

“We were as poor as we’ve been in the first half, but fair play to them they pushed us high up the pitch,” Donegal League manager Dorrian said.
“We got them in at half-time and had a few choice words. It was a case of bucking up or shipping out and we played better in the second half.
“We were lucky and we got out of jail, but we got through so we’re happy enough.
“I’m delighted for the boys. We’ll move on now and get the heads down. It gives everyone a lift.”
