BONAGEE United had a promising campaign last season – but Aidan McLaughlin wants silverware at Dry Arch Park this time around.
Peter Moran returned to the helm and in the interim season Bonagee were runners-up in the League and lost the League Cup final to Cockhill Celtic.
“We can’t wait to get started,” the ace striker told Donegal Sport Hub’s Charlie Collins.
“We had a good year last year and hopefully we can kick on this time.
“Since Peter came in, there’s been a big change. We have brought in a few boys who have played at a higher level and the club is always improving here.”
On the hopes for the new season, McLaughlin left no ambiguity.
He said: “Winning trophies is what we want. We definitely want to win something this season.”
