A single point was the only thing between Ardara and Bundoran as the home side came out on top in this high tempo game which finished Ardara 1-10 Bundoran 2-6.
It was nip and tuck all the way at Pearse Park as both sides enjoys spells of dominance.
The visitors got off to the slowest of starts and didn’t register a score at all in the opening period as Ardara went in at half-time 0-5 to 0-0.
However, Bundoran bounced back to life in the second half.
Spurred on by two goals from Ciaran McCaughey and Adam McGlone, they led the home side by four points with just nine minutes left on referee James Connors watch.
The St Eunans official was a busy man showing three red cards, two to Bundoran (James Stewart and Paul Brennan) and one to Ardara (Joe Melly) as the game ebbed and flowed.
Conor Classon, not for the first time, managed to help haul Ardara back into the game in the final minutes.
Classon was the link man as he worked tirelessly with CJ Molloy and Thomas Boyle grabbing points before Classon set up Stefan Boyle to grab a fine goal for Ardara.
Gary Clancy got a consolation point for Bundoran but they just didn’t have enough in the tank to get back on level terms with the home side.
