A STORMING second half by Conor Classon and Brendan McNelis pushed Ardara to victory over Termon at The Burn Road last night.

Ardara, who went into this game needing to win to stay in touch with Termon and Glenswilly, opened the scoring via McNelis.
Aiden Sweeney put the home side on level terms before Daire McDaid had two Termon points.
Jack Brennan cut the deficit for Ardara with a point.
Termon cut loose and James McSharry raised a green flag following good approach work by Nathan McElwaine.

Termon led 1-4 to 0-6 at half-time.
On the resumption, Termon – playing into a strong breeze blewing from the Builders Hill towards Doon Well – were on the back foot.
McNelis pointed for Ardara before former Donegal player Paddy McDaid – a black card replacement for Caolan McDaid – responded for Termon.

Gareth Concarr poked home a goal after Termon failed to clear their lines and Ardara added points for Lorcan O’Donnell, McNelis and two from Concarr.
Disaster struck for Termon when, following a wayward kick-out, Jack Brennan, collected and he passed to CJ Molloy, who fired home.
[adrotate group=”70″]Daire McDaid was well shackled by Paddy McGrath, but he got in for two points, although McGrath’s late point gave the visitors a 2-13 to 1-7 win.
Termon are now clinging by their fingertips to the low-water mark but Ardara, who are the basement side, will be lifted by this result.
