THE LETTERKENNY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ladies had another big win yesterday in the Donaghy Cup.
LyIT hammered Limerick Institute of Technology 6-17 to 1-4 in Ballyhaunis.
Geraldine McLaughlin again top-scored for the Port Road scholars with 2-5 as they romped to a 28-point win.
LyIT defeated Marino 9-9 to 2-9 in their last game in the competition and with McLaughlin in lethal form once more they had little trouble in seeing off LIT.
McLaughlin’s Termon colleague Lucy O’Flynn scored 1-2 with Sarah Jane McDonald, Aine O’Reilly and Emma McCroary also getting goals.
