AMBER Barrett is to extend her stay with German club FC Köln for another season.
The Milford woman will remain with Köln despite their relegation to the second tier of the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Barrett netted three times in 15 appearances for Köln and netted the winner in the final game of the season.
Barrett is one of five players to be retained by Köln.
“It was important for us to put together a team that is in the position to be promoted back to the Bundesliga,” head coach Sascha Glass said.
“Amber and Sonja give us more options in attack and are different types of strikers. Amber is quick and can finish well, Sonja is physical, can hold the ball up well and is a force up front. It’s nice to be able to keep both here.”
