IRELAND striker Amber Barrett scored another decisive opening goal for FC Köln in the 2. Bundesliga today.
The Milford woman secured another three points for the team as they returned to action against Würzburger Kickers.
The 1-0 win at Sportpark-Heuchelhof keeps Köln at the top of the table.
Sascha Glass’ side hadn’t had a competitive game in 106 days, but Barrett helped the team surge past injury woes with her fourth goal in four games.
Barrett is no stranger to scoring golden opening goals. Since her two-year deal in Germany began in summer 2019, the former Donegal GAA player has enjoyed a slew of openers.
