ON-LOAN Celtic striker Michael Duffy will be aiming to put one over on their Glasgow rivals Rangers on Sunday in the Scottish Championship.
The former Kildrum Tigers and Derry City striker joined Alloa Athletic in the close season on loan from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, whom the Northern Ireland U-21 international signed for in February.
Twenty-one-year-old Duffy saw his side open their season with a 3-1 loss last Saturday against Queen of the South.
Duffy’s father, also Michael, known as ‘Bamber’ is a native of St Johnston and also former Kildrum Tigers player.
Before signing for Derry, the younger Duffy also lined out for the St Johnston based side, representing the Station Road club up to under-16 level.
Sunday’s fixture kicks off at 12:30pm from the Indodrill Stadium and is live on BT Sport.
