Her mother, Mary O’Callaghan, sister Liosa Campas and her nephew, Chris Delaney, all took part in the blue and white Finn Valley AC singlet.
The family affair was the highlight of the day for Ciara, topping even the gold medal she won.
“We were all out doing what we love doing and wearing the same vest of a wonderful club,” she said. “Days like this don’t come along too often so it’s a memory to treasure. It was a great day for so many reasons – but this was the most special for definite.
“The whole family was out, kitted out in the Finn Valley gear and we were all out shouting for each other. Everyone was behind us too.
“There is nothing more beautiful in sport.”
Liosa took the masters over-40 3000m walk title while Chris won gold in the men’s 400m hurdles and silver in the 110m hurdles.
Showing the way was 68-year-old Mary in the 3,000m walk.
Ciara said: “Mum just keeps pushing to the limit.”
