AIDAN MCATEER began his tenure as manager of Gaeil Fhánada in commendable style as his team overcame Division 1 Milford in the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta this afternoon at Triaghalough.

The new manager saw his team run in as winners on a 0-7 to 0-5 scoreline to open their campaign.
