Italian Francesco Crisci said ‘arrivederci’ to the Ulster Senior League in style last night.
Crisci has been based in Letterkenny since May, working with the Donegal Youth Service, but will now return to Italy.
He has been playing with Bonagee United in the USL and scored a cracking second goal in a 3-0 win over Swilly Rovers at Dry Arch Park.
Darek Frankowski and Dean Larkin also netted for Peter Moran’s team and Crisci signed off with a goal.

“I tried a different type of football than the Italian football.
“There is more running and it is more physical. I had fun playing in this League.”
[adrotate group=”80″]23-year-old midfielder Crisci old hails from Battipaglia, not far from Sorento in Southern Italy and had played for Polisportiva Santa Maria before moving to Ireland.
Carolyn Maguire is a work colleague who sits on the Bonagee United committee and through her persuasion Crisci joined Bonagee.
He also netted a goal in the 2-1 win over Fanad United in the FAI Intermediate Cup.
