MICHAEL MURPHY SCORED a hat-trick in today’s All-Star exhibition game at the Sheikh Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
In a goal-mad game, the 2016 All-Stars defeated the 2015 All-Stars 14-11 to 10-11.
Murphy helped himself to 3-2 for the 2015 All-Star selection. Murphy and his Glenswilly team-mate Neil Gallagher played for the 2015 team having traveled as replacements.
Midfielder Gallagher notched a goal and a point.

A number of replacements made the trip due to the presence of some back-to-back All-Star winners while other players were unavailable to travel.
Ryan McHugh, an All-Star this year, played the first half for the 2016 selection before being replaced by Dublin’s Jonny Cooper at half-time in a 13-a-side game.
The All-Star touring party are based in Dubai and today’s game was played in the Abu Dhabi.
[adrotate group=”81″]Dublin duo Ciaran Kilkenny (3-2) and Dean Rock (3-0) both hit hat-tricks for the winners, while Conor McManus scored 2-3 for the 2015 side.
