Devaney took over from Brendan Dunleavy a year ago. The Monaghan native, who has been living in Stranorlar since the 1990s, had previously managed Na Rossa.
[adrotate group=”81″]Devaney had been involved with MacCumhaills at underage level before taking the senior job last November.
However, the club has confirmed that it is now seeking applications for a new boss.
In 2016, they reached the quarter-finals of the Donegal SFC, but were beaten by eventual champions Glenswilly, whiley they missed out on the promotion spots in Division 2 of the All-County Football League.
