JUNIOR RUSSELL has been long enough around to know that the trophies aren’t polished in the winter months in the Donegal League.
Arranmore United and Fintown Harps are joint third and the race for the Glencarr Inn Division title could go to the tape.
“They don’t hand out trophies in November,” Russell, whose side have no game this weekend, told Donegal Sport Hub following Saturday’s draw.
“There’ll be a lot of twists and turns before it’s over. We’ll just concentrate on what we’re doing for now.
“We were very happy to get the draw. It was a tough slog with challenges flying in. A point apiece was a a fair result.
“They made it hard for us. They’re going well this year, but it showed our character. We have that in our locker and we showed what we were made of in the last 15 minutes.”
