JOHN MCNULTY says that the Donegal Masters will be doing all in their power to win Saturday’s Irish TV Gaelic Masters Shield final.
Kilcar clubman McNulty is the manager of the Donegal Masters (pictured above by Chris Doherty) who have made a successful return to the Masters competition this year after an absence of over a decade.
The Tir Chonaill men meet Offaly in Saturday’s final at Kilkerrin-Clonberne in Galway.
“We have got a great response and the lads are really enjoying it,” McNulty told Donegal Sport Hub.
[adrotate group=”81″]“The response has been brilliant from the lads. They have given us everything. You get a lot of enjoyment from this, but at the same time we want to win this final.
“We have done everything as professional as we can and the boys have responded.
“We had 25 there at training on Wednesday. We had a good session with good intensity. They’re in good shape and raring to go.”
[adrotate group=”53″]Donegal overcame Westmeath in their semi-final two weeks ago and will be able to call upon eight-time Donegal SFC winner John Haran for Saturday’s final.
McNulty said: “You look at John still playing Senior Championship this year and he didn’t look out of place at all – he’s a big addition. A certain amount of these men are still playing for their clubs.”
