LETTERKENNY WOMAN Julianne Herrity has had another successful season with the Carson-Newman Eagles in America.
The 27-year-old, a daughter of Michael and Ann Herrity from Kiltoy, has been named on the South Atlantic Conference team of the year having netted 16 goals this season.
Herrity, who is studying for an MBA at Carson-Newman, in Tennessee, won the SAC regular season title and at the weekend defeated Wingate Bulldogs to win the SAC Tournament final.
Herrity scored the opening goal in Sunday’s final for the Eagles with Holly Talbut-Smith from England getting the second.

“You can’t really desribe it. We fought to the very end. It was a close game, but we did what we came to so, we couldn’t be happier with it.”
The goal netted by Bulldogs’ Kimmi Moore was the first goal the Eagles conceded in the SAC Tournament.

Herrity has been catching the eye with the Eagles and is on the Team of the Year again.
Herrity said: “It’s great to get recognized after we put in the work all season, not just for me, but for the whole team. There are so many of us that were recognised this year.”
