A PARTNERSHIP between Affidea, Ireland’s leading independent diagnistic imaging provider, and Donegal GAA was officially launched this afternoon.
Donegal senior footballers Michael Murphy and Eamonn Doherty and Donegals senior hurler Sean McVeigh were among those at the launch of a partnership worth €9,000 for the next three years.

Affidea opened a €2 million facility at Scally Place in July and the deal with Donegal GAA will see players avail of state of the art diagnostic access with the facility offering MRI, ultrasound and X-ray facilities.
Affidea Letterkenny is equipped with top technology, including a high-spec Philips ingenia wide bore MRI scanner with results provided inside 48 hours.
Affidea Letterkenny was officially opened by the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, and is is already servicing a real need in the area. Previously, those needing scans would have had to travel to Sligo or Dublin.
Appointments, made by referral, are generally seen to within days, and appointments are facilitated in evenings and on weekends.
