DANNY CULLEN played his part but couldn’t help Ireland to victory over Scotland in the annual shinty-hurling international today.
Ireland, featuring the Setanta clubman Cullen (pictured above left with Dessie Farrell at the 2013 GAA GPA Nicky Rackard awards) went down 14-5 against the Scots at Bught Park in Inverness in the one-series Test. Kevin Bartlett scored all but one of Scotland’s totals with placed balls over the crossbar.
