The Finn Harps U17 trained this morning for the final time ahead of tomorrow’s big FAI National League quarter-final clash with UCD at Belfield (kick-off 2pm).
After a very good league campaign, Declan Boyle’s squad will now be hoping to go a stage further in the prestigious national competition.

On Thursday night the squad trained at Gweedore United’s excellent Carrickboyle facilities under lights.
The manager says all his players know that it is going to be a very difficult match against UCD.

As the season has developed we have got better and better. And we will be looking for another top performance and result tomorrow, which the lads are more than capable of delivering.”
On the injury front, Shane Blaney the Finn Harps U17 team captain is struggling with a hamstring injury.
Boyle said: “We will be giving Shane every opportunity to prove his fitness for the match but Liam McFadden is out of the UCD game with a bad chest injection. Apart from that everyone else is fit and well and looking forward to our biggest match of the season.”
