MANUS KELLY ADMITS he’s now had all his “adrenaline rushes in one year” following his Glenswilly side’s victory in the Senior C championship final this afternoon.
Kelly, who won the Joule Donegal International Rally in June and was second in recent Harvest Stages Rally in Killybegs, is joint-manager with Sean Bonner of their local Glenswilly club.

This afternoon at O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny, the Glenswilly third string defeated Naomh Conaill 1-5 to 0-6 to add the Senior C championship to the Division 5 title.
[adrotate group=”59″]“I think I’ve used all my adrenaline rushes in one year,” a beaming Kelly said in the tunnel at O’Donnell Park.
“Rallying is my number one sport but I’ve been brought up in GAA in Glenswilly. We’ve had a great bond all year and it’s great for the club to have something to celebrate.
“The lads really wanted it. This team has been around for quite a number of years. They really wanted it. We are going to enjoy a great night tonight. Fair play to Naomh Conaill. They dug deep and you’re never going to get it easy against the men from over the hill.
“It’s all a club at the end of the day from the first team right down to the underage. It’s got to the stage in Glenswilly where if you’re not part of the club, then well …”
