JASON QUIGLEY SAYS he wouldn’t turn down a chance to fight Canelo Alvarez if the opportunity presented itself.
The 48-1-1 ‘Canelo’ is a stablemate of Quigley with Golden Boy Promotions in California.
Quigley is rated as one of Golden Boy’s biggest prospects and unbeatem in his 11 professional bouts, with another planned for mid-December.
“I’m staying in the gym, staying ready – and I’m ready for action,” Quigley said.

He said: “I’m a boxer and I train in this gym every day – why wouldn’t I? It’s a dream of mine to be the world champion and to get a crack at the title. I couldn’t turn that down.
“I’m hungry, I’m a fighter and I want to grab the chance with both hands. Right now, would it be too soon? Of course. But if someone came up and said they had a possible fight with Canelo, I’d say: ‘Let’s take it!””

This year, Quigley has beaten Freddy Lopez and James De La Rosa and has lofty ambitions.
Quigley said: “I want to get into the ring with the best man on the planet to see how good I am.
[adrotate group=”81″]“I’m not afraid to get in there with the best and put my record on the line. Floyd Mayweather put his record on the line. It wasn’t as if he protected his record. He might have picked the times that suited him, but if you can get away with that, why not?”
