GAMEWEEK 7 IN Fantasy Premier League is marooned between a busy European week and an even busier international week.
Here at Donegal Sport Hub, we’re running a league in conjunction with Champions Travel and things are tight at the top after six weeks.
Things get underway tonight at Goodison Park, where Everton welcome Crystal Palace so don’t get caught trying to change your team at 11:28am on Saturday!
1. A choice for captain
WITH Manchester City facing a daunting trip to Spurs following their 3-3 draw at Celtic Park in the Champions League on Wednesday, Sergio Agüero isn’t the automatic captain’s choice this weekend as he might’ve been in recent weeks.
So, there’s considerable scope this week and because of that, there’s likely to be a serious differential in points picked up by the various punters. Arsenal’s Alexis Sánchez is one who might take the role, with his team playing at Burnley.
Other possibilities that spring to mind are Romelu Lukaku, with Everton at home to Crystal Palace, Watford and Tory Deeney have an appealing fixture in Bournemouth, Sunderland and Jermain Defoe welcome West Brom and Manchester United, whomever you may decide, play host to Stoke City.

LAST Saturday, Jose Mourinho, the Manchester United manager, rejigged his team with Wayne Rooney in particular missing out as Leicester City were put to the sword at Old Trafford.
Rooney watched on as his teammates raced into a 4-0 first half lead and besides Leicester’s woeful abilities to defend corners, the other thing that caught the eye was the form of Marcus Rashford (pictured above).
The 18-year-old has three Premier League goals this season. He’s an exciting talent and with struggling Stoke City the visitors’ to United on Sunday, the England international might be worth a punt.

SEEING AS HE has scored four times in his last three Premier League games, it’s still a little surprising that Heung-Min Son of Tottenham’s – before this week’s stats are announced – only owned by 4.3 per cent of Fantasy Premier League managers.
Spurs have been coming to the boil of late in the Premier League and the South Korean has ably stepped up to the plate. Sunday’s assignment against Manchester City will show if the North London club really mean business this season, following an excellent campaign last term.
[adrotate group=”85″]Heung-Min Son scored the only goal of the game as Spurs got their Champions League aspirations back on track with a 1-0 win at CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
4. Cool on the Ice man
SWANSEA CITY can be hit and miss and this weekend they welcome an in-form Liverpool to the Liberty Stadium.
An interesting statistic, though, is the recent form of Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Icelandic international has amassed 14 goal attempts over the last four matches, which is a credible return.
Liverpool might be playing some beautiful football of late but the Merseysiders certainly give teams a chance and they’ve yet to keep a clean sheet all season.
