MILFORD AND AODH RUADH moved into the Intermediate semi-finals, while Burt caused an upset in defeating Cloughaneely yesterday.
MILFORD CONTINUED their fine campaign, but they were far from convincing in booking a place in the semi-finals at Naomh BrÃd’s expense in Convoy.
Milford 2-12 Naomh BrÃd 1-12
David Walsh’s goal at the start of the second half helped Naomh BrÃd remain right in the game, but goals by Kyle Black and Pauric Curley saw Danny O’Donnell’s team through.

It wasn’t before a tight battle that could have gone either way at times.
Indeed, Naomh BrÃd were left angered by a couple of decisions, Walsh having a point disallowed by referee James Connors after being awarded by the umpire, while Milford had a score awarded after the man in the middle ruled against the umpires, just after Milford’s second goal.
Cases, perhaps, for hawkeye at club level.
Cathal McGettigan’s free had Milford ahead by two at half-time and they stretched the lead with a Luke Barrett free on the resumption.
Naomh BrÃd goaled when Walsh netted from close range after good work by Shane Walsh.
Milford hit back instantly and Black netted inside a minute.
Naomh BrÃd had Thomas Gallagher sent off and Pauric Curley drilled to the net, for Milford soon after.
Scorers – Milford: Kyle Black 1-2, Pauric Curley 1-0, Cathal McGettigan 0-3, Gary Merritt, Christopher Barrett 0-2 each, Luke Barrett, David Curley, Darragh Black 0-1 each.
Naomh BrÃd: Darragh Brogan 0-5, David Walsh 1-0, Shane Walsh 0-3, Paul McGroary, Ross Gallagher, Sean Gormley, Callum Gallagher 0-1 each.

Aodh Ruadh 2-18 Naomh Ultan 3-8
Substitute Oisin Rooney fired home Aodh Ruadh’s second goal late in the game to, finally, put the game beyond the gallant Dunkineely men, who were back to the minimum a couple of times in a game that saw three men sent off.
Naomh Ultan saw Damien Quigley and Aaron Byrne sent off while Niall Murray of Aodh Ruadh was dismissed too.
Daniel Gallagher’s early goal set Naomh Ultan off to a fabulous start, but in the final ten minutes of the first half Aodh Ruadh hit back and Michael ‘Sticky’ Ward netted for the Ernesiders.
Ward scored 1-5 in all and his team led 1-9 to 1-5 at the break.
However, when James Byrne netted for Naomh Ultan, the deficit was cut drastically again and they did likewise in the 56th minute when Aidan Duddy finished.
But Aodh Ruadh spared the blushes with Rooney’s goal the key.
Scorers – Aodh Ruadh: Michael ‘Sticky’ Ward 1-5, Diarmuid McInerney 0-5, Oisin Rooney 1-0, David McGurrin, Peter Boyle, 0-2 each, Shane McGrath, Paddy Gillespie, Philip Patton, Seamus Kane 0-1 each.
Naomh Ultan: Peter Alvey 0-4, James Byrne, Daniel Gallagher 1-0 each, Dermot Gallier 0-3, Cian Kennedy 0-1.

Burt 1-12 Cloughaneely 2-8
Joe Boyle hit seven points, including a last-gasp winner, to seal an impressive win for the Hibernian Park residents.
Burt got their goal in the first half through Conor Harkin, a tidy finish after beating Cloughaneely goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher.
But Cloughaneely had a goal of their own when John Fitzgerald finished at the other end.
Burt led at half-time and they stretched the lead out to four only for Donegal minor joint-captain Jason McGee to net for Cloughaneely.
The Pairc Naomh Fionnan men hit back to level the game.
In a dramatic finish, Cloughaneely spurned a chance to go ahead, but Burt got forward and Boyle kept composed and cool to land the winner.
Scorers – Burt: Joe Boyle 0-7, Conor Harkin 1-2, Mark Coyle 0-2, Sean McHugh 0-1.
Cloughaneely: John Fitzgerald 1-4, Jason McGee 1-0, Darren McGeever 0-2, Shaun Maguire, Ciaran Scanlon 0-1 each
