LETTERKENNY BOXER DARREN MANGAN will make his Irish debut on November 5 in Dublin, it has been confirmed.
Two years after Mangan made a winning professional debut in America, the 22-year-old will be back on the canvas.
Mangan will now compete at middleweight and will be on the Red Cow Promotions Bill at the National Stadium, a card that will also include the debut of Derry’s Connor Coyle.
Steve Collins Jnr, Eric Donovan and Luke Keeler will feature on the night, too.

Mangan returned home from New York after leaving Uprising Promotions and team up with John Breen’s famous Lombard Street gym in Belfast.
The New York move just didn’t work out for Mangan and now he’s rejoined Breen’s team.

“I have always believed in Darren and now he’s getting his first fight in the National Stadium. I can’t wait. Darren is a kid who, with a few fights behind him, can excel to be a fighter that has a great future.”
Mangan is a former four-time Ulster champion as an amateur and boxed for both Letterkenny ABC and Finn Valley ABC.
