Appreciation night for Fr Mick Sweeney will recall PCC and Fanad glory days

THERE WILL BE an appreciation night for Fr Mick Sweeney at the Silver Tassie in Letterkenny on Friday, September 30.

The event is being organised by previous pupils of Fr Mick from PCC Falcarragh (pictured below), with whom he had great success. Also involved is a number of our former players who enjoyed unprecedented success in the 1980’s under the guidance of Fr Mick winning a number of trophies including the Intermediate Cup in 1988.

Fr Mick needs no introduction to anyone involved in football in Donegal and this will be a great opportunity for everyone to get together and show how appreciated he is.
