SEAMUS COLEMAN HAS returned from injury and will captain the Republic of Ireland in tonight’s first 2018 World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Belgrade.
Coleman has not played this season for his club Everton but has been deemed fit to play right-back tonight for the side managed by Martin O’Neill.

There had been some debate who would be handed the skipper’s armband since Robbie Keane hung up his international boots last week.
John O’Shea of Sunderland was also tipped but it seems as though Coleman will take the role of the campaign. O’Shea starts centre-back.
The 27-year-old Coleman captained Ireland in the 1-0 win over Italy in Lille at Euro 2016 and the 2-1 loss against France in the last 16.
